Angelo offers both classroom and school assembly visits. With Angelo's books being geared towards young adult audiences ages 14+, Angelo’s school visits are ideal for Grades 9-12. Angelo offers a wide variety of activities to chose from including:

Student Q&A Session
Students can ask Angelo questions about her book(s), author experience, writing techniques, and more. Students can ask questions on the spot or prepare questions.
Whether students have or have not read Angelo's book(s), teachers can format this to be a great lesson plan/assignment by having students work together and collaborate on questions to ask.
Student Q&A session is offered for classroom and school assembly visits.
Chapter Read Along & Analysis
Angelo will read a chapter from her book to analyze. Hitting key ELA reading and writing standards, students will work together to analyze the chapter for elements such as figurative language, thematic devices, story arc structure, and more.
If students have not read the book(s), Angelo will read the first chapter to analyze. If students have read or are reading Angelo's book(s), teachers and students can select a chapter for Angelo to read aloud and analyze together.
Chapter read along & analysis is offered for classroom and school assembly visits, but is ideal for classroom visits.
Creative Writing Workshop
Students will get to become an author!
Angelo will get student's creativity flowing with a writing workshop focused on crafting short original stories. Students will work with Angelo by following a writing prompt to spark creativity and have the opportunity to share their creative work with their fellow classmates. Materials needed for students and teachers are paper and writing utensils.
Creative writing workshop is offered for classroom and school assembly visits.
School Newspaper Interview
Have your students interview a published author!
If your school has a journalism class, journalism extracurricular club, or a group of students who run a school newspaper or broadcast channel, this is the perfect opportunity for these students. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate, prepare, and conduct an interview with Angelo.
For schools that have a student run newspaper or broadcast channel, this is the chance for students to not only practice their interviewing skills, but publish and showcase their hard work.
Book Signing
Students can have copies of Angelo's book(s) signed!
To accommodate for school day schedules, Angelo can sign books upon arrival, during book signing for students, and/or other times your school can coordinate.
Book signing is offered for classroom and school assembly visits.

What schools does Angelo visit?
Angelo visits local and non local schools. As mentioned above, recommended grades are 9-12, but Angelo can visit elementary and middle schools. For non local schools, additional fees to cover travel needs, lodging, etc. will be discussed during scheduling.
What classrooms does Angelo visit?
To benefit your students most, Angelo visits classrooms centered around reading and writing.
This includes classes such as English Language Arts, Creative Writing, and Journalism.
When should I schedule Angelo to visit my school?
This answer will depend on if you would like your students to meet Angelo without reading her book(s) or after reading her book(s). For some schools, scheduling a general author visit works best. For some schools, scheduling Angelo to visit after students have read Angelo's book(s) in their class, club, or as part of their summer reading list works best.
Should I have Angelo visit classrooms, a school assembly, or both?
This answer will depend on what your goal is for Angelo's visit. Do you want as many students as possible to meet Angelo, then a school assembly may be for you. Did some of your classes read Angelo's book(s), then classroom visits may be for you. Do you want Angelo to have a Q&A session with as many students as possible and schedule a creative writing workshop for a classroom, then a mix may be best for you.
How long are Angelo's visits?
Angelo can visit for a half day or a full day. A half day consists of 1-2 classroom visits and/or 1-2 assemblies. A full day consists of 3+ classroom visits and/or 2+ assemblies.
What is the cost of Angelo's visit?
The total cost for Angelo's visit depends upon the length.
Half Day: Bulk book order of 12 copies
Full Day: Bulk book order of 24 copies
*For non local schools, additional fees to cover travel needs, lodging, etc. will be discussed during scheduling.
How do I pay for Angelo's visit?
Payment for Angelo's visit is done via bulk book order. Books can be ordered through Amazon or Barnes & Noble online.
A bulk book order not only compensates Angelo for her time, but provides your students with physical copies of Angelo's book to be signed, read, and enjoy!
What is Angelo's teaching experience?
Angelo has an undergraduate BA degree in Psychology and a Master's in Education.
Angelo has six years of versatile teaching experience working as an ELA teacher in grades eight through twelve classrooms. Within this role, Angelo has developed diverse curriculums adhering to state standards, ESL students, and SPED students to accommodate for IEP and 504 Plans for both in person and one hundred percent remote instruction.
Angelo has also worked as an aid for ACCESS Transition Programs, SAT/MCAS proctor, ELA Co-Teacher, and Instructional Support Staff member throughout her teaching career.

As a former ELA teacher, Angelo not only makes the visit fun for students, but ensures key common core standards pertaining to speaking and listening, language, and writing are covered as well. Below is a breakdown on Angelo's visit activities in conjunction with Grades 9-12 ELA/Literacy Common Core State Standards.
**If your school has read Angelo's book(s) before the visit, additional standards in reading and speaking and listening can be covered. These standards coincide with the adopted Common Core State Standards and are taken directly from the Core Standards website which not every state follows.
